Interests change and lets be honest, are you still watching the same streamers that you were a few years ago? Probably not.

That’s why it’s sometimes important to clean up your twitch following list. Even if it’s just to save yourself receiving notifications from channels that you’re no longer interest in.

Today we’re going to teach you how to unfollow a channel on twitch and refine your following list to only those that you care about.

To unfollow someone on Twitch, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Twitch website and log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to the channel of the person you want to unfollow.
  3. Click the “Following” button, located under their profile picture and to the right of their username.
  4. Click “Unfollow” in the drop-down menu that appears.
  5. Confirm that you want to unfollow the channel by clicking “Yes” on the pop-up message that appears.

Alternatively, you can also unfollow someone directly from your own Following page:

  1. Go to your profile by clicking your profile picture in the top-right corner of the Twitch website.
  2. Click “Following” to see a list of all the channels you’re currently following.
  3. Find the channel you want to unfollow and click the “Following” button next to their name.
  4. Click “Unfollow” in the drop-down menu that appears.
  5. Confirm that you want to unfollow the channel by clicking “Yes” on the pop-up message that appears.

That’s it!

You will no longer see updates or notifications from the channel you’ve unfollowed on Twitch.
